I'm only peripherally watching what is going on with DeepSeek, but I'm interested in other AI models.

We assume that all of the progress is being made in the US, but DeepSeek (China) sounds impressive, and I've heard some promising things about Mistral (France).

Anybody actually try these other models to compare?

I'd like to, but I'm actually prohibited from using DeepSeek. All I can do is keep watching for benchmark performance tests

I'm only tracking it via headlines.
